January 11 - 17, 2016 Stargazer: Galaxy Cluster on the Edge of the Universe IDCS 1426

This week on Stargazer, in addition to hearing what we can look for in our dark island skies, it’s a trip literally to the edge of the universe as we know it. We'll hear about the newly discovered cluster of galaxies that utilized three NASA tools: the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, the Hubble Space Telescope, and the Spitzer Space Telescope, to observe Galaxy Cluster IDCS 1426. HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Christopher Phillips.
