Helping Hand - December 9, 2016 complete interview with the Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands

This week on Helping Hand, we have an opportunity for giving back that is statewide: we're going down the holiday wish list for the Salvation Army, and their most critical items to help those in need across the Aloha State. HPR ATC Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Major John Chamness, Divisional Leader of The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific Islands.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature airing statewide on HPR1 stations each Friday as part of our afternoon drive broadcast of All Things Considered, and then appearing online here, where all of our Helping Hand segments and resources are archived. Every week, Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled and others among the most vulnerable.
