Helping Hand - July 29, 2016 complete interview with Hawaii Fido Service Dogs

This week Helping Hand welcomes back Hawaii Fido Service Dogs, a non-profit devoted to assisting the disabled with service dogs. On August 7 International Assistant Dog Week begins and Saturday August 6 they’ll be at Windward Mall in the Honolulu area, among several upcoming events we hear about as HPR ATC Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Program Director Susan Luehrs & Executive Director Jim Kennedy.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations statewide and archived online here. Each Friday afternoon as part of All Things Considered, Helping Hand offers a profile of another organization, event or topic that offers assistance to the disabled, and the most vulnerable.
