This week on Helping Hand we’re learning about the Hawai‘i Association of the Blind 49th Annual Convention Saturday March 12th at the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu. They are the local affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. Hawai‘i Association of the Blind board member Landa Phelan speaks with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence.

The HAB 2015 Annual Convention is Saturday March 12th at the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu. Registration at 8 a.m., the program runs 9 a .m. to 2:30 p.m., and the dinner banquet starts at 6 p.m. This year the keynote speaker is the Secretary of the American Council of the Blind, Ray Campbell.
