This week Helping Hand welcomes Grandcares Hawaii. According to their website, GRANDCares Hawaii is a project of UH M?noa and Colorado State University to support vulnerable grandparents who are raising grandchildren by providing access to community resources and information. They have two sites in Hawaii, one on Maui and one on Hawaii Island. HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Heather Greenwood-Junkermeier, UH M?noa Extension Agent Faculty based in Maui County.
