This week on Helping Hand we have returning guests the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui, a nonprofit concerned with the social welfare of children and families on the Valley Isle who have suffered abuse and severe neglect. It’s a privilege to welcome back Director Paul Tonnesen for a conversation with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR as part of All Things Considered each Friday, and then archived online here. Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled and others among the most vulnerable.
