Mandela Memorial Fake Interpreter: Jan Fried
Jan Fried is a Professor of American Sign Language/English Interpreter Education at Kapi'olani Community College. She holds a master's degree in Teaching Interpretation, is a nationally certified interpreter in private practice and also trains interpreters for the Hawai'i State Judiciary. Jan has presented extensively throughout Hawai'i, Micronesia, Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and the mainland US.

Kumu Kahua Auditions: Harry Wong
Harry Wong is the Creative Director of Kumu Kahua Theatre, which is holding auditions for several roles in a new play by Eric Yokomori called CockaDoodleDoo in early January. It’s also offering an audition workshop on December 29 that will include a discussion of the script and characters.
