The Conversation: Wednesday, August 15th, 2018

Sleep disorders-- why do we need to talk about how to treat them?

That’s the subject of our call in show today.

We hear from the head of Kaiser’s sleep lab and from a dentist trained in sleep dentistryabout how to help you get a good nights rest.

Do you suffer from sleep apnea or insomnia? You aren’t alone, millions of others do and may not realize how it affects your overall health.

What if poor sleep affects your job performance? Do you fall asleep at work?  Could it cut short your career? What does insurance cover? We often hear a lot of jokes about snoring,  or being sleep deprived particularly if you have a new baby-- but it's no laughing matter.
