Presidential Authority to Use Military Force

Ann Wright is a former U.S. Army officer and diplomat with the State Department. She is also President of the Hawaii chapter of Veterans for Peace, which has endorsed the resolution. She spoke about it with The Conversation’s Ryan Finnerty.

Hawaii saw its first hurricane of the season skirt us by last week.

But the focus on preparedness drew our attention to a new app that was born out of two storms in the Atlantic. Harvey and Irma. Adam Huminski and Brian Hilinksi wanted to create something to helplink evacuees and hosts during a disaster. They flagged the new app they created to us last week as Hawaii watched the first hurricane of the season approach.
