The history of Classical Music is a history of musical influences and inspirations, from folk music to nature to the music of other composers to pure sound to literature and legend, and so on. Today I'm looking at just a few inspirations in and from the music of Italian, French and Eastern European composers. It's a neverending theme, and always fascinating.
