Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE, has forever linked the NFL with brain injuries that are affecting players who are describing memory loss, mood changes, and more. Authors of the book The Traumatized Brain and local expert Adam Slabicki, professional athletic trainer for St. Francis School will be in the studio, and we'll discuss how the recent movie CONCUSSIONtells the story of the long road to recognition for the effects of repetitive trauma to the brain. We'll also discuss how repeated brain trauma relates to anyone who participates in sports, or has a child or loved one who does, and how they can be protected.

Dr. Kathy Kozak hosts The Body Show on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. on HPR-1.
