His Crosswinds Project plays the Blue Note Friday through Sunday, and HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence spoke with the legendary musician, known for stints with Horace Silver, Miles Davis, Mahavishnu Orchestra and having worked with musicians like guitar wizard Tommy Bolin.
