Ahead of Busy Storm Season, Hawaii Holds a Hurricane Drill

For residents in Hawai‘i, the start of summer also means the beginning of hurricane season. State and county officials have wasted no time preparing for what’s predicted to be an above average year. All week they’ve been conducting an annual hurricane exercise called Makani P?hili, which means ‘strong wind.’ HPR’s Molly Solomon was there and has this report.
