The
Honolulu Night Market throws its doors open again this Saturday night in
Kaka’ako. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports
food, fashion, gifts, and entertainment are all part of the festivities.
Tattoo,
Chris McKinney’s first book 13 years ago, caused quite a stir. It was a brash, unvarnished view of urban Honolulu. His latest novel, “Boi No Good”, traces the
lives of three siblings through radically different upbringings and their

Since 2003,
Desiree Cremer has been planting seeds at Aiea High School. She started the state’s only ballet and modern dance program to satisfy fine arts requirements---and students have been
reaping the benefits since. HPR’s Noe

Makkuro
Makkuro is a quirky pop up shop that features local artisans and designers plus
interesting second hand goods. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports it will be making
its next appearance this weekend in the Kaka’ako neighborhood.
