UH Law Students Gear Up for 34th Annual Ete Bowl
This weekend law students are taking a break from hitting the books and are hitting the field instead…the football field. The annual all-female Ete vs. Bruzers flag football game dates back to 1978 and has become a tradition at UH Manoa’s William S. Richardson Law School. The “Ete’s” represent the current female law students while the “Bruzers” are a group of alumnae who are now established attorneys and judges.
Hawaii Supreme Court Associate Justice Sabrina McKenna remembers her own days playing in the Ete Bowl.
Third year law student Christilei Hessler is this year’s Ete Team Captain. Hessler says that the team is more than ready and has been practicing for months.
The 34th Ete Bowl takes place this Sunday at 1 pm at the UH football practice field.
