Commission Brings Access to Legal Aid to Wai'anae Community
ShareThis
The U.S. Constitution promises equal justice for all. But it doesn’t always work out that way. Some members of the legal community are working to change that.
In 2008 the Hawaii Access to Justice Commission was formed. It strives to deliver access to legal aid for low and middle income residents. Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald will visit the Leeward side to lead a briefing tomorrow and thinks this will be an opportunity to engage with the community.
The Hawaii Access to Justice Commission community briefing takes place tomorrow, Tuesday December 11th, from 6 to 8 pm at the Wai’anae District Park Multi-Purpose Room. For more information, call 586-9425.
