“HI Fashion: The Legacy of Alfred Shaheen” at the Bishop Museum
ShareThis
Before Alfred Shaheen, there were mom and pop clothing makers in Hawai’i, but he spearheaded the industry. Shaheen became a global brand designed, printed and produced right here---remember, Elvis wore a Shaheen on the "Blue Hawai'i" cover. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa offers an inside tour of “HI Fashion: The Legacy of Alfred Shaheen” at the Bishop Museum.
“HI Fashion: The Legacy of Alfred Shaheen” continues at the Bishop Museum through February 4th.
