The ban on all commercial
activities at O’ahu City Parks was reversed today by the Caldwell
Administration, which will open the way for a number of non-profit events and
activities. HPR’s Wayne
Yoshioka was at City Hall for the announcement.
All members of the State
House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly yesterday to abolish the Public
Agency it had a part in creating last session to generate revenue by developing
State-owned land. HPR’s Wayne Yoshioka
was there for the vote.

The Honolulu City Council considered a bill today that would provide no-cost annual bus passes for some riders. But, as HPR’s Wayne Yoshioka reports … the City Administration opposed the idea of a fare reduction because public transportation is not free for all O’ahu residents.
