Wounded Warrior Program Helps Soldiers Support New Missions

ShareThisCaring for an entire generation of war wounded Americans is the focus of a program active across Hawaii. It started just after the first soldiers were sent home from Afghanistan. That war began 10 years ago last week. It is now the longest in U.S. history. Many who have served in war carry physical and mental wounds. As HPR’s Nikki Motson reports, now they’re getting help.
