This weekend a local
restaurant is opening up its kitchen to teach people the art of butchery.
Robert McGee is the chef and
co-owner of The Whole Ox Deli in Kaka’ako. It’s a deli shop that focuses on
sandwiches, with a unique twist on your average cold cut. All meats are made in house using whole
animal butchery. McGee, who will be leading the class, invites the community to
learn what they can do with a whole pig.
