Kenny Loggins has had a special place in the islands for decades. This weekend he returns to the state for a pair of shows, including with the Hawai`i Symphony Pops. He told HPR’s Dave Lawrence that for him, being a musician was something almost meant to be.
Kenny Loggins plays the MACC in Kahului Friday and at the Blaisdell Concert Hall Sunday with the Hawai`i Symphony Pops. Matt Catingub will conduct.
HPR-1 is operating at reduced power for the North Shore and Kaua'i; the transmitter is at the factory for repair. All other transmitters are operating normally.
