Straight Talk On The Economy From Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz

At the APEC conference on O’ahu last year, President Barack Obama said "No region will do more to shape our long-term economic future than the Asia-Pacific region." How is the region doing today and what could America learn from them?

HPR’s Noe Tanigawa posed those questions to a Nobel Prize-winning economist who will be speaking in Honolulu next week. Joseph Stiglitz, professor at Columbia and a Nobel Laureate, will speak next Tuesday, March 13 at 6 pm at Orvis Auditorium on the Manoa campus. The event is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the lecture at 7 pm.

Here's a link to an extended interview--only 10 minutes though let me know if you want the full 27!
