Stephan Jost, the new Director of the Honolulu Academy of Arts

ShareThis Two of Hawai’i’s premier art institutions, the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the Contemporary Museum, merged earlier this year, and their future has been entrusted to a new director. Stephan Jost, formerly head of the Shelburne Museum in Vermont, arrived in May and now that he’s had a chance to settle in, HPR’s Noe Tanigawa spoke with him about what lies ahead.
