Shooting for the Showdown in Chinatown

ShareThis“What if Hawaii ran out of gas?” That’s the plotline challenging local filmmakers in the latest Showdown in Chinatown film competition. Entrants have been racing to produce mini films by 7pm today. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa went on location with one of the teams. For this Showdown in Chinatown, The Blue Planet Foundation has upped the ante with prizes for best films on the theme: “Powerless or Empowered: What if Hawaii ran out of gas?” View the films at Nextdoor, March 19, at 8pm, followed by an After-party.
