March 22, 2011: There are multiple efforts throughout the state to collect funds for Japan's tsunami and earthquake relief. From Kona, Sherry Bracken tells us three Rotary Clubs on Hawaii Island have banded together to provide some immediate help where Japanese residents say it's most needed.

Anybody wishing to donate to Shelter Box may call Ann Goody in Kona at 331-8778 or go online to www.shelterboxusa.org.  Shelter Box says they've already received an additional $7,000 in online donations from Hawaii.
