REO Speedwagon has a history in the islands dating back over thirty years. In an area where melodic, softer sounds heavy on vocals are exceptionally popular, it’s no wonder they still have a strong fan-base in Hawaii. Longtime lead vocalist Kevin Cronin spoke to HPR’s Dave Lawrence, and recalled island memories going back to the late 70's ahead of three island dates.
REO Speedwagon performs Friday 11/25 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, Saturday 11/26 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, and Sunday 11/27 at the MACC in Kahului. Find out more about the band at speedwagon.com, their website.
North Shore O'ahu transmitters and Kaua'i transmitters are off air due to a power outage as a result of the extreme weather. All other transmitters are operating normally.
