Public Records Not Easy To Come By In HawaiiShareThisThousands of information requests for public data are made to government agencies every year. Journalists and watchdog groups use them to keep an eye on government. As Hawaii loses more and more skilled journalists, some bloggers and online news sites have started working vigorously to publish and report on the state’s public records. HPR’s Ben Markus has more.
