Moana Nui, a Pacific Perspective on Peoples, Lands, and Economies

ShareThisNative scholars and cultural practitioners have been meeting this week in Honolulu at the “MOANA NUI: PACIFIC PEOPLES, LANDS AND ECONOMIES” conference. The gathering includes Pacific Islanders not included in APEC. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa found their Pacific perspective is rooted in caring for people and the environment. The Moana Nui Conference continues Friday at the UH Manoa Center for Hawaiian Studies. The public is welcome! Check for conference details and follow up.
