The Mauna Kea Science Reserve sprawls over more than 11-thousand acres atop Hawai`i’s tallest mountain. Among the instruments and facilities is the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope—which cuts through space dust to get a better look at the heavens. And that’s where HPR’s Dave Lawrence continues our series on the telescopes and observatories of Mauna Kea summit.
