When ‘oama, the baby goatfish or weke, run along the shoreline in late summer, circles of strangers become friends as they stand together flicking bamboo poles above the water. A similar phenomenon is underway on Maui, but these folks gathered along the shore have easels and paint brushes in hand. The Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational invites you to Kamehameha Iki Park for the Sunset Paint Out Wednesday 4pm to sunset and the Lahaina Quick Draw on Friday morning 9-11 at Lahaina Harbor.
