Making Hawaii Shield Laws Permanent

The Legislature in 2008 passed a law to protect news reporters and other journalists from being forced to disclose the identities of confidential sources or give up their unpublished notes. Blogger and HPR Commentator Ian Lind says the law has been a success and should be made permanent.
