Live Inauguration Coverage from NPR on Mon., Jan. 21st


On Monday, January 21, 2013, HPR will carry coverage of the Presidential inauguration from Washington D.C. as follows:

5 a.m.-9 a.m.  HST   HPR-1 (KHPR 88.1 Honolulu; KKUA 90.7 Wailuku; KANO 91.1 Hilo) 
9am-11am HST         HPR-2 (KIPO 89.3 Honolulu; KIPM 89.7 Waikapu; KIPH 88.3 Hana)

NPR will have reporters deployed at the Inaugural ceremony, in the crowd on the National Mall, along the parade route, and at the inaugural balls. Morning Edition will be preempted for this special coverage. Steve Inskeep and Audie Cornish will host the special from the West Front of the U.S. Capitol Building, where the Inaugural ceremony will take place. They'll be joined there by White House Correspondents Ari Shapiro and Scott Horsley. Beginning at 9 a.m. HST and running until 11 a.m. coverage will toggle from HPR-1 to HPR-2, with host Neal Conan taking live listener calls.
