Land Use Commission Will Decide Fate of Kapolei Farms


The fight to keep farms from development heads to the state Land Use Commission this week. Farmers and local food advocates are fighting to keep thousands of acres of O`ahu farmland. Developers say new homes are needed in an area slated to become O`ahu’s second city.The LUC will hold hearings this Thursday and Friday morning to discuss the proposed Ho`opili development.
