KEY Project Celebrates Thanksgiving Hawaii-Style

ShareThis

As families begin preparations for Thanksgiving dinner, one Hawaiian tradition continues across the islands.  Tonight hundreds of turkeys will be placed in imus, where they will roast in the underground ovens overnight ... with delicious results!

John L. Reppun is the Executive Director of the nonprofit, The KEY Project, and is hosting his 26th Thanksgiving Imu.  For Reppun, the collaborative effort and participation from the community has been the true reward.
