Ka Himeni Ana is a unique night of acoustic Hawaiian music, performed the way it began, by family and friends. The Richard Towill family founded the annual event 27 years ago to support Hawaiian music in the “real old style”. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa gives a taste of what’s in store.
The deadline for entering Ka Himeni Ana is July 29th and the concert is set for August 27th at Hawai’i Theatre. Check the Hawaiian music hall of fame site for information http://www.hmhof.org/news/index.html
