Honolulu City Council Committee Advances Sidewalk Nuisance Bill


The Honolulu City Council today advanced a bill that would allow the immediate removal of personal property or other items from city sidewalks.   The measure which must clear two more public hearings has broad-based support from most Councilmembers because they are on the receiving end of numerous complaints from residents and business owners.   HPR’s Wayne Yoshioka has this report.
