ShareThis
This weekend, the O’ahu Nursery Growers’ Association is sponsoring a plant sale with free daylong events to get your garden looking---and tasting---its best. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa spoke with horitculturist and arborist, Heidi Bornhorst, about growing food and flowers right at home. Note the lomi salmon ginger over her ear.
Above, the native Hawaiian red hibiscus, koki'o 'ula. The Oahu Nursery Growers Association is featuring a plant sale and free talks Saturday from 9-4 and Sunday from 9-3, at Thomas Square. Landscape consultant Heidi Bornhorst speaks at 10am Saturday.
