Sunday marks the long anticipated debut of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra. For two years, musicians and members of the community have worked steadfastly behind the scenes to make this 2012 Masterworks series possible, and now it's time to celebrate. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports on what’s in store.
A few seats remain for Sunday’s premiere of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra. The stellar program of Beethoven, Mozart and Weber will be performed again Tuesday evening, March 6. Subscriptions remain for the Masterworks series with prices starting at $136 dollars for all eight concerts. Check http://hawaiisymphonyorchestra.org/
