Hawai’i Craftsmen To Recession: Back Off, We’re Heading Neighbor Island!
ShareThisHawai’i boasts one of the strongest craft movements in the country, in terms of both diversity and skill of its artisans. Hawai’i Craftsmen has spent 45 years nurturing this community and this year, their educational programs will be expanding. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports.
Chris Gustin presents a free slide lecture with jeweler, John Cogswell and woodworker Wendy Maruyama, on Thursday, March 15 at Punahou School. Workshops and free lectures are also available on Maui, Kaua’i and Hawai’i Island also.
