Around Hawai`i images of honu can be found just about everywhere. Tourists often say the chance to spend some time on the beach or in the water with sea turtles is among the highlights of their visit to the islands. Protection of sea turtles under the Endangered Species Act is helping their populations rebound and some groups say it's gone too far.
