In this last week of the year, we’re looking at how some of Hawaii’s companies did in 2011---for themselves and for their shareholders. For technology companies in general, the potential for both risk and reward is high. That’s been the case this year with several Hawaii-based technology firms.

And even if a business is good for the environment, it may not be great for investors. HPR's Bill Dorman reports.
