Honolulu is still buzzing about last weekend’s Hawai’i Food and Wine Festival. Bigger than last year, with twice the number of chefs, every event was sold out. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa takes a look at how food and community are shaping each other.

The Wahiawa Farmers’ Market is held at the Wahiawa Hongwanji on California Avenue every Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30pm. EBT cards are accepted starting this week. The farmers’ market at Kalihi Valley District Park every Saturday from 10-10:45 also accepts EBT.
