Tomorrow night, popular Boston-area rockers Godsmack performs at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. HPR’s Dave Lawrence got a call from vocalist Sully Erna, who said that while this will be Godsmack’s debut concert in the islands, it’s not their first-time working in Hawai`i.
Godsmack makes their Hawai`i debut at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu tomorrow, Friday September 9th. Find out more about the band at their website, godsmack.com. Also hear the songs featured in the HPR story below.
HPR-1 has been partially restored to O'ahu's North Shore and much of Kaua'i; we are working on an electrical problem at the Mt. Ka'ala site and once that's been resolved, repairs can be made to restore full HPR-1 signal strength. All other transmitters are operating normally.

Note on Hawaiian spellings:
In our print communications, HPR takes special care to include the ʻokina (glottal stop) and kahakō (macron) marks used in the proper spelling of Hawaiian words.
