In April, Hawai`i gets a pair of dates from The Doobie Brothers. Guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Patrick Simmons won’t have to travel far to get to the shows, as HPR’s Dave Lawrence reports.
The Doobie Brothers perform on Maui April 1st at the MACC in Kahului and April 2nd at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, both shows with War opening. Their latest album is "World Gone Crazy" -- the remake of classic track "Nobody" is featured below. The official Doobie Brothers website is http://doobiebros.com.
North Shore O'ahu transmitters and Kaua'i transmitters are off air due to a power outage as a result of the extreme weather. HECO hopes to re-establish power sometime Thursday, weather permitting. All other transmitters are operating normally.
