Shawn Laatsch is the Planetarium Manager of Imiloa Astronomy Center and executive officer of the International Planetarium Society. He's heard every Monday during the HPR Stargazer segment and on Tuesdays when it's the Transit of Venus.

Dr. Shauna Tonkin is the Director of Education for the Pacific Aviation Museum at Pearl Harbor and the creator of its summer Flight School program for girls in grades six through eight. 

Laws, kids and real life help at a Kalihi clinic.

Avi Soifer is the Dean and a professor of law at the William S. Richardson School of Law at UH Manoa. Many of his students participate in the Child Welfare Clinic in Kalihi. Since 2007, the law school program has been at the crossroads of classroom learning and real life. 

The public house of books reopens in Manoa.

Christel Collins is the head librarian at Manoa Library, which will have a grand opening ceremony in its new facility Saturday, June 9 at 10 a.m.
