Celebrating 20 years of getting our Kecks
Debbie Goodwin is the Director of Advancement for the W. M. Keck Observatory. She oversees fund development, education and public relations for the world’s greatest ground based telescopes. The observatory celebrates its 20 anniversary with Keck Week coming in March.

Ariana Kim is a ninth-grader at St. Andrew’s Priory School, where her science project is one of the 2013 winners.

Moving the Target for Foster Care
Gernani Yutob Jr. is a former foster youth and is the President of the Oahu HI H.O.P.E.S. Youth Leadership Board. HI HOPES stands for Hawai‘i Helping Our People Envision Success. He’d like to see the foster youth system extend through age 21.
