Michelle Gaither is a postdoctoral fellow at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. She completed her dissertation research at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology in Kaneohe Bay and studied invasive fishes in Hawaii.

Troy M. Apostol is a frequent contributor to Hawaii’s theatre scene. He has performed at Hawaii Repertory Theatre, The Actor’s Group, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Kumu Kahua Theatre, the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival and has written and directed for KKT and HSF. In 2010 he won the Hawaii Prize in the KKT/UHM Theatre and Dance Department Playwriting Contest, and in 2011 he was honored with the Lisa Toishigawa Inouye Award for Excellence in Playwriting from UHM. He is a Po’okela Award-winning actor and director, an MFA Directing candidate at UHM, and an advisory board member at Playbuilders.
