Taking kids from inaction in science to Science in Action 

It’s an ongoing challenge for educators: how do you take abstract ideas in science and mathematics beyond abstraction? The University of Hawaii is taking on that challenge this summer with a series of programs called Science in Action. Bill Chismar, Dean of the UH Outreach College, is here to tell us about them.
