Ronn Nozoe is deputy superintendent of the Hawaii State Department of Education. He joined the DOE as a teacher in 1995. In 2000, he moved to administration and now leads, directs and supervises the DOE's academic programs in the DOE's 15 Complex Areas, and in the Military Liaison Program, Special Projects and in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support.

Jim Tranquada is the co-author of “The Ukulele: A History”  and  director of communications at Occidental College. As he likes to say, he  is also an embarrassingly bad 'ukulele player.

Liam Skilling is the Director of the Evening Part-time Division and Director of Academic Success at the William S. Richardson School of Law. He is the father of two daughters, Talulah and Violette. When he was a student at Richardson, Liam became involved with the Students with Keiki organization and he is currently its faculty advisor.
