Roy Sakuma is the founder of the Maui Ukulele Festival and an ukulele teacher with more than thirty years’ experience. The Seventh Annual Maui Ukulele Festival is this Sunday from 1 to 6 pm at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului.

A full moon rises on a new work of music.

Gary Washburn is a composer and pianist who is also the Band Director at Honoka’a High and Intermediate school.  His original work, “Earth Life: October Full Moon” is a series of compositions which will be performed October 27th at the Honoka’a People’s Theater.
